We currently have an opening for a PROGRAMS & EVENTS COORDINATOR at our headquarters in Wilmington, DE for Delaware Business Times.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Program & Events Coordinator will work closely with the Associate Publisher and sales team to coordinate and manage nominations of high energy awards programs & educational seminars, promote & sell marketing opportunities to the business community.  The PEC will have responsibilities in nominations, execution of events, video shoots and trafficking orders related to award programs.  This position offers salary, commission, full benefits and the tools you need to be successful. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1 year of sales experience (inside or outside sales)

• Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Excellent computer skills, MS Excel proficient a must
• Excellent preparation, discovery, presentation and closing skills
• Clear understanding of print, online and event marketing and advertising
• Four-year college degree desirable
• Events experience desirable
